all arrangements have been prepared to general elections

Commissioner General of elections Saman Sri Rathnayake says that all arrangements are being prepared to conduct the general elections.

The General election will be held on the 14th of November, and the nominations for the upcoming election will be accepted up to 12 noon from the  4th to the 11th of  October.

Following the election, the new Parliament is scheduled to convene on the November 21^st .
