The President to address the nation today.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is expected to make a special statement while addressing the nation at 7:30 pm today  according to the Department of Government Information.

He was sworn into office on Monday after a landslide victory in the weekend’s presidential polls, where he defeated 38 other candidates and garnered over 5.6 million or 42.3 percent of the votes.
