election monitoring officers have been deployed  for postal voting.

Marking of postal voting for the general election begins today.  It will be conducted in district secretariat offices, election offices and police institutes from today to Friday.  

Postal voting will also be conducted in state institutes and army camps on Friday and Monday.

Commissioner general Saman Sri Rathnayake said that if any person is unable to cast their vote,  opportunities will be made on 7^th and 8^th  to cast their votes.
