Certain percentage of agricultural loans will be waived – Anura Kumara

Presidential candidate of the National People’s Power Anura Kumara Dissanayake states that under his administration, a certain percentage of agricultural loans will be waived. He mentioned this while attending a public meeting in the Galen-bidunu-wewa area.

A program to inform the public about the policy statement of Namal Rajapaksa, the presidential candidate of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, will begin today. This program will be conducted on a nationwide scale.

The first debate in the series of presidential candidate debates will take place this evening at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo.

The debate will feature Sajith Premadasa, Dilith Jayaweera, Namal Rajapaksa, and P. Ariyanethran. The event is organized by March 12 and will be broadcast live on all major television channels and over 200 social media platforms from 3 PM to 5 PM.

Rohana Hettiarachchi, Executive Director of the Paffrel Organization, stated that 16 presidential candidates have confirmed their participation in this debate series. Accordingly, candidates Vijithamuni Zoysa, Nuwan Bopage, Sarath Manamendra, Anoj Silva, Priyankara Wickramasinghe, Pani Wijesiriwardena, and Maivagnam Tilakaratne will participate tomorrow.
