Sum of 57 million rupees has been credited to the farmers’ accounts
According to the Agricultural Development Commissioner General Rohana Rajapaksa, an amount of 57 million rupees has been credited to the farmers’ accounts for the fertilizer subsidy.
The money was credited at the cost of 15 thousand rupees per hectare. 113 million rupees have been allocated from the treasury to provide fertilizer subsidy to the farmers in the high season.
They have been released giving priority to a few districts where paddy cultivation has started.
