President Ranil Wickramasinghe emphasizes that it will take a few more years to revive the country’s economy into a better place.
Therefore, the President said that politicians who have failed to fulfil the responsibility of restoring the collapsed economy should be rejected.
President Wickramasinghe made this comment while attending the Conference of the Public Services United Nurses’ Union held in Colombo today.
The President also said that by next year, a new program, which will ease the burden of the public, will be initiated. It will take the country towards rapid development in the year 2026.
The contribution of the nursing service towards the country’s development will be expanded. Necessary facilities will be provided to create trained nurses equipped with modern technology knowledge.
Accordingly, a program will be implemented to direct Sri Lankan nurses to meet the rising nursing needs of European countries.
