priority will be given to safeguard all religious places

Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa says that protecting religious places will be given priority under his government.

The aim is to provide permanent solutions to the electricity bill problem faced by religious places. Addressing the conference with the Samagi Jana balawega and the Bhikshu Advisory Council held in Colombo, he said that he will take every possible action for the advancement of the Maha Sangha, who are committed to protect the ‘Sambudhu Sasuna’. He mentioned that the aim is to create a nation full of righteousness by protecting the temple system.
