All arrangements are in place to conduct the Grade Five

Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, states that all arrangements are in place for the Grade Five Scholarship Examination to be held tomorrow.

There are 323,879 applicants for the examination. Among them, 244,092 are Sinhala medium students, and 79,787 are Tamil medium students.

The examination will be conducted at 2,849 centres across the country. Examination centres have been provided for the convenience of the students.

Special examination centres have also been established for children with special needs and for applicants from Maharagama Apeksha Hospital.

There are 491 examination coordination centres. Amith Jayasundara assured that facilities have been provided to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination without any hindrance, even in case of emergencies.
