Judicial appointments will be made impartially – Mr. Premadasa

SJB presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa assures that judicial appointments will be made impartially. Speaking at a Lawyer’s Forum in Colombo, Sajith Premadasa emphasized that decisions will be based on judiciary and the rule of law.

He also outlined his plan to recover stolen assets and funds through a comprehensive asset recovery program, ensuring that the country’s resources are returned and used properly. Sajith Premadasa reassured that he would uphold fairness in all appointments and actions if elected.

Meanwhile, Parliamentarian  Eran Wickramaratne says the SJB manifesto was developed over a two-year period with input from relevant scholars and professionals. He said it is set to cover 27 subjects.

He made these remarks while attending the SJB Media briefing held today in Colombo. He added that Sri Lanka is considered to be one of the most corrupted countries in the world.

He also said that there is an anti-corruption commission and  it is must to strengthen it further. There is also an expectation of a Samagi Jana Sandha government to get the support of international intelligence agencies to strengthen the commission. He said SJB is also planning to digitize public services to reduce many economic and social problems by giving every citizen a specific identification number.
