Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, the presidential candidate of the Sammagi Jana Balavegaya, has announced that the minimum salary for all state employees will be increased to 57,500 Rupees.

He made this statement while participating in a public rally organized by the United People’s Alliance in Warakapola yesterday.

During the rally, several seats held by Sri Lanka Freedom Party representatives expressed their support for Sajith Premadasa and joined the United People’s Force.
