The election commissioner has summoned all heads of media institutes to the elections commission tomorrow. The aim of the meeting is to issue relevant guidelines regarding the propaganda campaign of the upcoming presidential election.

The Election Commission says that the state officials should act responsibly during the election period. The Election Commission has made these guidelines issuing a circular regarding the election.

Meanwhile, the Police Headquarters stated that they plan to assign roughly 50,000 police officers for election duty during the upcoming presidential election. The Police also revealed that the process of calculating the number of police officers necessary for the election has already begun. Accordingly, police officers will be assigned to supervise polling stations, to oversee the transportation of the ballot boxes and similar duties.
