Sri Lanka won five medals, including two gold and a silver,  at the 14th Taipei City Cup Youth Boxing Tournament 2024 in Chinese  Taipei yesterday.

Dilshan Heenkenda of Vidyartha College, Kandy and Thenuwan  Meegalla of Royal College were the gold medallists while team captain  Aazil Murajudeen of Zahira College, College had to be content with a  silver medal. Hirushan Wijesinghe of Vidyartha College, Kandy and  Mavindu Nimsara of President’s College, Veyangoda secured bronze medals  after losing in the semifinals.
