Ranil Wickremesinghe will enter this presidential election with 7.1 million votes

State Minister Dr. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has stated that President Ranil Wickremesinghe will enter this presidential election with a clear vote base of 7.1 million votes. He mentioned that everyone is invited to participate in this election campaign. Dr. Siyambalapitiya expressed these views at a meeting with local government candidates in the Kegalle District.

He also discussed the voting proportions for other parties. According to Dr. Siyambalapitiya, the current President is a leader who has earned the trust of the people in the North and East. Therefore, he predicted that a majority of the votes will go to Wickremesinghe.

Leader of the National People’s Power, Anura Kumara Dissanayake states that his government will not tolerate any violence. He emphasized that the law will be enforced properly under his administration. Speaking at a public rally in the Galgamuwa area, he said that individuals involved in theft of public property will be brought before the courts. He clarified that this is not a form of retaliation but rather a matter of justice.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake stressed the need to create a government that brings peace to the public and aims to establish a regime that holds corrupt and dishonest individuals accountable under the law. He highlighted that rural communities are suffering from poverty and have lost their sources of income.
