The Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment says that migrated workers have sent more than 560 million US dollars

The Ministry of Labor and Foreign Employment says that migrated workers have sent more than 560 million US dollars to Sri Lanka. It is a 10 percent increase compared to the month of July.

The Ministry says that the monthly amount sent by the migrant employees were above 500 million US dollars since March last year. The Ministry says that many schemes have introduces to encourage legal fund transfers to Sri Lanka.
