According to the Foreign Employment Bureau, around 110 million rupees have been distributed to victims of foreign employment during the year.

The money has been paid after prosecuting individuals and unlicensed agencies involved in fraudulent foreign employment practices. In the last 9 months, 570 related complaints were received.

The agency informs people to avoid being caught by fraudsters and apply for foreign jobs by asking the bureau. Phone number 1989 can also be used for enquiries.
