50,000 police officers to be assigned for election duty.

The Police Headquarters stated that they plan to assign roughly 50,000 police officers for election duty during the upcoming presidential election.

The Police also revealed that the process of calculating the number of police officers necessary for the election has already begun.

Accordingly, police officers will be assigned to supervise polling stations, to oversee the transportation of the ballot boxes and similar duties.
