Two fishermen who were rescued by the SL Navy

The Naval and fishing communities are advised to not venture into the Arabian Sea areas due to the active south-west monsoonal conditions.

The two fishermen who were rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy on the 31st of last month from the Indian fishing trawler, that sank due to an accident in Sri Lankan waters off the Delft Island Jaffna, and the body of a fisherman, who passed away while being admitted to the Pun-gudu-theevu Hospital in Jaffna for treatment, were handed over to the Indian Naval Ship ‘INS BITRA’

yesterday by the Sri Lanka Coast Guard at the International Maritime Boundary Line between India and Sri Lanka.
