The 15th Census of Population and Housing in Sri Lanka.

The 15th Census of Population and Housing in Sri Lanka is set to begin tomorrow. The Census is conducted Islam wide to collect personal and housing information.

The Director General of the Department of Census and Statistics Anoja Senavirathna, said census officials will be visiting households across the country to collect vital data from tommrow.

She said  that recent assessments show a significant 24% increase in housing units compared to the figures collected from the 2012 census.
