Sajith accuses President Ranil Wickremesinghe and the JVP are conspiring to defeat his efforts

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa accuses President Ranil Wickremesinghe and the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna are conspiring to defeat his efforts to rebuild the country.

Opposition Leader made these remarks at a rally of the SJB, held in Kolonnawa. He also claimed that the country now faces a clear choice between his party, the SJB, which is clean and transparent force.

He said the party is capable of rebuilding Sri Lanka, than the  destructive alliance between President Wickremesinghe and JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Meanwhile, NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake has responded to the on-going controversy surrounding his comments during a recent visit to Jaffna, where he was accused of making threatening remarks toward the Northern population.

However, he dismissed the criticism, claiming that Tamil National Alliance TNA spokeswoman MP MA Sumanthiran had already delivered the correct reaction to the matter and said  President Ranil Wickremasinghe should repent for inciting racism.
