He took measures to appreciate the rupee after his assuming – Ranil

President Ranil Wickremasinghe says that he took measures to appreciate the rupee after his assuming office as the President.

Non popular decisions had to be taken in this regard.  Due to this reason  the living burden of the people have been increased.

He pointed  out that there were no any alternative in this regard.  There is no possibility to build the country economically without a proper plan.

Temporary solutions have been to appreciate the rupee and  for the economic crisis.  He made these remarks while participating in a public rally held in Ehaliyagoda.
