Kadawatha & Mirigama section of the Central Expressway will start construction

The Ministry of Transport and Highways has announced that the section of the Central Expressway between Kadawatha and Mirigama will start construction under local aid.

Secretary of the Ministry KDS Ruwanchandra says that 7.5 Billion Rupees will be allocated for the construction of the first phase.

A cabinet paper has already been submitted for that. It spans 30 kilometers and includes three interchanges.
