Accepting of applications for postal votes will end on Tuesday.

Accepting of applications for postal votes for the 2024 general election will end on Tuesday. The election commission council said that it is compulsory for the persons who applied for postal votes at the presidential election should also apply for postal votes for the general election.

The relevant voter register can be obtained freely from the  district election offices and from the official website of the election commission www. Elections.gov.lk. The relevant application should be sent to the district returning officials before or earlier than Tuesday
