Mr.Premadasa, support small and medium-scale entrepreneurs

Samagi Jana Balawegaya leader and presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa has pledged to support small and medium-scale entrepreneurs under an SJB-led government, with plans to create one million new entrepreneurs.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Kegalle, Premadasa criticized the current government for imposing heavy taxes on businesses, which has caused hardships for small and medium-scale industrialists.

He promised to provide fertilizer for 15,000 Rupees per metric ton to support the agriculture sector. Additionally, he announced a 20,000 Rupees aid package for housewives from low-income families. Premadasa also revealed plans to distribute unused government land to unemployed youth and plantation workers, allowing them to become small-scale tea estate owners and lead dignified lives.
