Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa says that through a government formed under the leadership of the common people, strong means of livelihood will be created for the people.
At a public rally held in Hettipola yesterday, he said that a comprehensive program for the development of village areas will be started after the 21st of this month.
Every poor family will be given an allowance of 20 thousand rupees for a period of 2 years. Every homeless family will get the right to a house through re-starting the village reawakening program.
International level development centres will be established in all the 30 regional secretariat divisions of Kurunegala district with the aim producing young entrepreneurs.
Agriculture, fisheries, three-wheelers and school buses are offered fuel subsidy through QR code.
