Year five scholarship examination today.

The department of examination says that the Year five scholarship examination 2024 will be conducted in 2,849 centers today.

Commissioner General of examinations Amith Jayasundara said that it is important to arrive at the center before the examination starts.

The examination will begin at 9.30 am.  323, 809 students will sit the exam.  Examination centers have been set up for children with special needs.

A special center has been set up for the children inmates at the Apesksha hospital in Maharagama.

Police media spokesman DIG Nihal Talduwa said that a special security programme will be implemented at all examination centers. More than 7,000 officials have been deployed for security duties.
