The body of the deceased senior announcer Mr. Sujeeva Harischandra will be brought to SLBC  tomorrow.

The funeral committee states that the body of the deceased senior announcer Mr. Sujeeva Harischandra will be brought to the Sri Lanka Radio Corporation premises at 2.00 pm tomorrow.

At the time of his death, he was working as the controller of the trade service. Mr. Sujeewa Harishchandra, who passed the age of 59, performed a great mission for his loud news announcements and many other programs on the National Radio. Mr. Harishchandra, who showed great commitments not only in announcing programs but also in many other areas, later contributed to television programs as well.

He became very popular following many commercials in this country. Mr. Harishchandra joined National Radio in 1986 as a relief announcer.

The body of late Mr. Sujiva Harischandra will be laid to rest at Borella A.F. Raymond Flower Hall from 10.00 am today for public respect. The last rites will be done at Borella Public Cemetery tomorrow.
