Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa said that he will appear on behalf of the welfare of the disabled community.

According to the census, out of the entire population there is 8.7 % of disabled community in the country.  He made these remarks while participating in the national summit for disabled persons.

He stated that he had raised his voice to fulfill justice for these people in the parliament.
