The President says he hopes to proceed with actions

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has stated that he hopes to proceed with actions in accordance with the recommendations of the commission report chaired by former Attorney General Priyasad Dep, regarding the digitization of the electoral process.

There is an opportunity to test the digital voting system during the upcoming provincial council elections. The President made this statement in response to a question raised at a meeting with information technology professionals.
