Many SLPP members pledged to support President

The support of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Polonnaruwa District Bala Mandalaya to President Ranil Wickremesinghe was unanimously decided on at the meeting at Kaduruwela, Polonnaruwa on Friday. The Polonnaruwa District Bala Mandalaya meeting was held with the participation of Chief Government Whip, Housing and Urban Development Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, SLPP MP Jagath Samarawickrama and other Polonnaruwa district Government and Opposition MPs. Nearly 100 former Government and Opposition members of the Provincial Councils and Pradeshiya Sabhas of the three electorates of Minneriya, Medirigiriya and Polonnaruwa participated.
