A media commission to be established to address the complaints of provincial journalists.

At the “Gauravartha Harasara” program held at Water’s Edge, Battaramulla to felicitate provincial journalists, President Ranil Wickremesinghe proposed the establishment of a media commission which would address the problems & complaints of provincial journalists & will have the authority to investigate their service contracts. Implementing this initiative, he said will be considered under the new parliament.
