Sri Lankans in Bangladesh safe amid ongoing protests

The Sri Lankan High Commission in Bangladesh reported that despite ongoing protests, 2,500 Sri Lankans in the country are safe.

However, the High Commission emphasised that the Sri Lankan community as a whole remains safe.

This includes nine students, with eight residing in Chittagong Medical College hostels and one staying with relatives in Dhaka.
