Cremation of Ven. Galboda Gnanissara Thera will be held tomorrow under State patronage.

Late Ven. Dr. Galboda Gnanissara Thera, affectionately known as Podi Hamuduruwo, the Chief Incumbent of the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya, will be cremated under State patronage tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. at the ground opposite the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo.

His mortal remains will be at Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple for the public to pay their respects until the time of the cremation. Most Ven. Gnanissara Thera passed away on Friday evening at the age of 81.
