Sajith Premadasa will be launched manifesto at the in Kandy today.

The manifesto of Samagi Jana Balavegaya Presidential candidate, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa will be launched at the Queen’s Hotel in Kandy today. Kandy District MP and Opposition Chief Whip Lakshman Kiriella, said that MPs Dr. Harsha de Silva, Kabir Hashim, Eran Wickramaratne and others who contributed to prepare the manifesto will participate in this event. He further said that Sajith Premadasa will present the manifesto to the Mahanayake Thera’s of the Malwathu and Asgiriya Chapters in the afternoon.

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa states that the primary step to prevent human-elephant conflicts is to implement a national land policy. He points out that no previous government has taken action on this issue. Speaking at a public rally in Wellawaya, he also declared that under his leadership, the privatization of state institutions will be completely halted. Instead, these institutions will be made efficient and transformed into profitable entities. He emphasized that national resources will be further expanded for the benefit of the people.
