Policy manifestos of President and Opposition Leader will be launched today.

Presidential policy manifesto of President Ranil Wickremesinghe will be launched in Colombo today. The event will take place at 9.30 am at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo.

The manifesto titled “Puluwan Sri Lanka”, is centered around the vision of leading the country out of bankruptcy and towards economic prosperity, with a gradual plan to transform Sri Lanka into a developed nation.

The manifesto of Samagi Jana Balavegaya Presidential candidate, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa will be launched at the Queen’s Hotel in Kandy today. Kandy District MP and Opposition Chief Whip Lakshman Kiriella, said that MPs Dr. Harsha de Silva, Kabir Hashim, Eran Wickramaratne and others who contributed to prepare the manifesto will participate in this event. He further said that Sajith Premadasa will present the manifesto to the Mahanayake Thera’s of the Malwathu and Asgiriya Chapters in the afternoon.
