they will pay attention on the statements made by the presidential candidates – IMF

The IMF says that they will pay attention on the statements made by the presidential candidates regarding the IMF agreements reached with Sri Lanka in their election  propaganda stages.

A  monitoring  team including the senior  chief of  operations peter Bawar  is  currently  visiting the island.   Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa  has stated that the IMF agreement will be implemented in a new humanitarian face under the government.

The Leader of the Jathika Gana Balawegaya  has stated that they will change the agreement after having discussions with the IMF.
