The Sri Lanka Freedom Party expressed its unwavering support for the president’s victory in the forthcoming election.
The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday and expressed their unwavering support for his victory in the forthcoming presidential election.
The SLFP’s Politburo and Central Committee had convened a meeting last evening and a final decision was reached support President Wickremesinghe at the upcoming election.
MP Duminda Dissanayake further stated that, “Only the incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe has made a request in writing asking for our support.”
Meanwhile, 92 Members of Parliament including Ministers and State Ministers recently met with Wickremesinghe and pledged their support for the President in the upcoming presidential election to ensure his victory.
