The distribution of official poll cards will end tomorrow.
The Election Commission says that postal voters who were unable to cast their votes on the 30th of last month, the 1st and the 4th of this month will have the opportunity to do so tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
They can vote on those two days at the district election offices in the district where their workplace is located.
Meanwhile, Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe says that the distribution of official ballot papers for the General Election will end tomorrow.
Those who have not received them after tomorrow can obtain an official ballot paper by verifying their identity from the nearest post office.
The Deputy Postmaster General says that 70 percent of the official poll cards have been distributed by now.
The Election Commission says that even if they do not have an official poll cards, they can vote by verifying their identity at the polling station.
The Deputy Postmaster General said that the acceptance of marked poll cards packets is currently taking place islandwide.
So far, over 483,000 have been accepted. Of these, nearly 235,000 have been handed over to the relevant selection officers.
