Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza leaves at least 87 dead or missing

Gaza authorities said at least 87 people were killed or are missing in Saturday’s Israeli airstrike on Beit Lahiya in the north of the enclave.

The Israeli forces rejected the report, saying the figures are exaggerated and they are precisely targeting Hamas bases to prevent civilian casualties.

The Israeli military continues its offensives in the enclave even after killing Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar on Wednesday.
