Accepting applications to cast postal votes will end tomorrow.

The Election Commission announces the applications to cast postal votes must be handed over to District Returning Officers before tomorrow.

Accordingly, all applications of the postal voting applicants must be forwarded to the relevant District Returning Officers through the District Election Office address.

The commission also announced that the application forms to be completed for availing the postal voting facility can be obtained free of charge from the places.

Meanwhile, All District Returning Officers were summoned to the Elections Commission yesterday to discuss the activities pertaining to the  Presidential Election. The election regulatory body has been conducting several rounds of negotiations with various parties concerning the forthcoming presidential election. Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Elections Commission also announced that heads of media institutions across the country will be convened for a discussion, pertaining to the matter tomorrow.
