Flood warnings issued in several districts due to heavy rainfall.

The National Building Research Organization has issued flood warning alerts for several districts due to heavy rainfall in certain areas of the country.

A level two warning has been issued for the Horana and Walallawita divisional secretariats in the Kalutara district. Level one flood warnings have also been issued for Nagoda and Alpitiyawa in the Galle district, Matugama, Dodangoda, Ingiriya, and Bulathsinhala in the Kalutara district,

Yatiyantota in the Kegalle district, Akurassa in the Matara district, Ambagamuwa in the Nuwara Eliya district, and Ella, Hali-Ela, and Passara in the Badulla district. These warnings are effective from 4 PM today until 4 PM tomorrow.
