NTC requests the public to inform about buses that charge

The Director General of the National Transport Commission Naomi Jayawardena requests the passengers to inform about the buses that charge more than the prescribed fare.

Complaints can be made on the hotline number 1955 or WhatsApp number 071 25 95 555 regarding inter-provincial private buses that charge higher fares.

Complaints can be made on Sri Lanka Transport Board’s hotline number 1958 regarding buses. The director general informs to submit complaints to the relevant provincial authorities regarding the provincial council buses.

Legal action will be taken against buses that charge more than the prescribed fare.
