Airstrikes hit Houthi targets in Yemen

Israel says its airstrikes have struck targets linked to the anti-government Houthi group in Yemen. This comes as Israel and the Lebanon-based Shia Muslim group Hezbollah are exchanging fire and Israel has indicated a possible ground invasion against it.

The Israeli military said on Sunday that the targets of its air raids included power plants and a seaport that were used by the Houthis. The Iran-backed Houthis fired a ballistic missile toward an airport in Israel’s commercial hub, Tel Aviv, on Saturday. It said the launch was for the defense of Gaza and Lebanon.
