The national proposal on children’s literature has been presented.

Today is the second day of the Colombo International Book Fair. It is being held today at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall premises in Colombo.

Today has been designated as a day dedicated to children’s literature. President Anura Kumara Dissanayake participated as the chief guest. The President of the Sri Lanka Publishers’ Association, Samantha Indivara Samarasinghe, presented the national proposal on children’s literature to the President during the event.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake was engaged in a tour of the book fair venue, where he received an overwhelming amount of praise from the public.
