He was able to stabilize the economy of the country – President

President Ranil Wickramasinghe states that he was able to stabilize the  economy of the country when it collapsed in 2022, and he is now asking the power of the people for help carrying out the revolution of nation-building.

He stated that what the country requires is not a change, but a practical program. He added that he is planning to make an economic revolution in the country and create a new economy in the next five years.

Attending a political rally held in Kandy today the President also said that the IMF should proceed with the approved agreements.

The President also invited opposition leader Sajith Premadasa, SJB’s presidential candidate, to join him to learn more about genuine politics.

The President recalled that when late President Ranasinghe Premadasa was impeached when he was the President, he assisted him to win the impeachment.

He said if that had not occurred, Sajith Premadasa the SJB leader would not be in politics today.
