G.C.E. O/L, examination will be released within the next two weeks
Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha assured that the results of the 2023 (2024) G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination will be released within the next two weeks.
Joining a press conference held today, Minister Premajayantha also noted that the Grade 05 scholarship examination, which had been postponed, will take place tomorrow.
Additionally, he highlighted that the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination, which has faced extended delays, is now scheduled to commence on November 25th this year.
Furthermore, he assured that in 2025, examinations will be conducted without any delay, in a more streamlined and predictable manner.
The new school term for the academic year 2025 is scheduled to commence on 2nd of January 2025. According to the Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha, the ongoing third school term will include an additional two weeks of January 2025 to ensure a complete and uninterrupted academic year.
The Ministry of Education also revealed that necessary steps will be taken to distribute textbooks and uniform materials to every student before 20th of January 2025, when the 2025 first term officially begins.
