A meeting regarding the security of the Presidential Election will be held at the Ministry of Public Security today.

A meeting regarding the security of the Presidential Election will be held at the Ministry of Public Security today. Senior DIGs and other officials are scheduled to attend the meeting.

It will be held under the patronage of Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security Viyani Gunathilake.

Officials have already been appointed for election duties at present. Other officials are scheduled to be appointed today.

The National Election Commission says that 153 complaints have been received thus far. Most of those complaints have been received regarding the violation laws of the presidential election.
