Mr. Anura rejects claims of unrest, pledges democratic governance.

Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake of the National People’s Power stated that, under his future government, the people will undoubtedly receive relief.

He strongly rejected claims that the country will face chaos following an NPP victory, urging people not to be misled by such fears.

He assured that no unrest will occur, and once victorious, a new political journey will begin by dissolving Parliament.

This, he stated, will pave the way for positive governance and the creation of a democratic government, free from religious and racial bias.
