Relief and development plan for tea plantation industry – Sajith

Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya says that he is constantly dedicated to fulfilling the people’s expectations.

Speaking at a public gathering in Baddegama, Galle, he mentioned that he has a special plan for the development of the tea plantation industry.

He also promised to provide 50 kg of fertilizer for Rs. 15,000 to small tea estate owners. He added that tea cultivation will be properly reorganized.

Premadasa noted that, so far, the government has not intervened in tea prices and that a Presidential Task Force will be established to uplift the tea industry.
