NPP Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake says the country requires a public servant who is proud of his or her accomplishments.
Addressing the National Summit of Development Officers he said that the people will definitely make a social transformation in the country on 21st of September.
He added a new transformation is needed in the production process in education and as well as in the economic sector. Creating successful social enterprises is not difficult,
and he believes a destroyed state may be brought back by establishing a strong public service.
He states that public services will be a major focus of his government’s reform and added that the government servants should believe that the country is steadily developing as a result of the work they accomplish.
