The Ilankai Tamil Arashu Kadchchi decides to back Mr. Premadasa

The Ilankai Tamil Arashu Kadchchi (ITAK) has decided to back Samagi Jana Balawegaya presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa at the upcoming Presidential election.

ITAK Media Spokesperson MP M.A. Sumanthiran said that they have decided to back Sajith Premadasa at their central committee meeting held today.

Meanwhile, Parliamentarian Sujiwa Senasinghe says that the policy statement of the Samagi Janabalawegaya is practical and achievable.

He stated that it is possible to restructure the debt and free the people from poverty as stated in the presidential election manifesto of the opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.

He made these remarks at a press conference of the Samagi Janasanthana held today. He stated that SJB leader Sajith Premadasa has a strong strategy to free the people from poverty.

He added even though some social media continued to insult SJB leader, the  media now acknowledges that Sajith Premadasa is a person who can fulfil the dreams of the general public.
